We are aware that messages with viral attachments are circulating, apparently coming from our domain.

There are viruses capable of spreading using address books of attacked systems, and assuming identities of e-mail addresses of active domains.

We can assure you that we strive for the security of the information archived on our systems.

Our network has a firewall to block unwanted access, and we manage a centralized antivirus system, costantly updated, to neutralize messages with malicious content.

To check if a message comes from our network, you have to display the message header.

At this regard, please see your e-mail client instructions. For instance, if you use Netscape Messenger, ctrl-U displays the message header.

If the message comes from our network, you must read the following information:

that is, it must come from our internal network, with an IP address such as 192.168.1.*, and have been spooled by our SMTP server, VibrostopSMTP.
